Do I Accept Insurance?
I do not accept any form of insurance. The reason for this is, that having personally come from working in the medical field, at different hospitals, I see how mental health diagnosis can follow a patient through their medical care. Often, this can be a headliner for patients in hospitals, past diagnosis, which include mental health diagnosis.
What I mean by this is, my clients prefer not to have the mental health diagnosis on their medical chart, essentially labeling them, and therefore, prefer to pay out of pocket for sessions.
The choice is up to you, but having been through my own therapy in the past, I prefer to pay out of pocket. My prices tend to be middle of the range—some therapists cost less than $100 per hour, and some cost over $200 per hour. I want to offer you affordable sessions at $155 per hour for your mental health needs.
Ways Current Clients Get Help Paying For Virtual Sessions:
Many current clients use their Health Savings Account, or HSA, to pay for sessions. HSAs are tax-advantaged member-owned accounts that let you save pre-tax dollars for qualified medical expenses, mental health therapy qualifying as such. Some employers even match the money that you contribute to your HSA.
