FAQ: How Frequently Should I Come to Counseling?

I am often asked about how frequently a person should attend sessions. However, the answer to this is that it depends on the specific mental health challenges you are going through at this point.

With many clients, we begin with more sessions per week, and next we tend to taper off to one session per week, and following that, perhaps biweekly sessions, and we will continue to reassess along the way to best fit your needs. However, each individual is different and the journey to success is unique to each client. I meet my clients where they are at every session, you guide the way, and together, we will find ways for you to live the life you deserve.
